Overview
Overall, it is clear that all countries apart from Nothern Ireland increased the percentage of workers doing part-time job from 1980 to 2010. Wales had the highest percentage of part-time workers among the other countries during the two given periods.

Detail 1
In 1980, just upper than 30 percent of people worked for part-time in Wales. That figure increased until about 35 percent which was the highest percentage in 2010. At the first period, the figure for England was around 25 percent and its figure in 2010 increased up to similar as the figure for wales in 1980.

 

As can be seen, for both years, Wales had the highest percentage of part-time workers among the other countries.  In 1980, Just upper than over 30 percent of people worked for part-time in Wales. That figure increased until  to about 35 % percent after 30 years which was the highest percentage in 2010. Similarly, at the first period, the figure for England's part-time employees was around 25 percent a quarter and its figure in 2010 increased up to similar grew the same as the figure for wales in 1980.

Some people who do the part-time job in Northern Ireland accounted for approximately 15 percent in 1980, but there was a slightly decline from 15 percent to 12 percent during the given period. By contrast, in Scotland, a significant rise of the proportion of part time workers can be seen and it made up about 10 percent.
