Practice: Paraphrase the given essay prompt
1. “Smoking is bad for our health.”
- Smoking has harmful effect on our body.

2. “Some people think watching sports is a waste of leisure time.”
- Some people say watching sproting events idle our spare time away.

3. “People nowadays sleep less than they used to in the past.”
- In the modern society, many people have shorter sleeping hours than before.

4. “Some people say that now we can see films on our phones or tablets, and there is no need to go to the cinema. Others say that to be fully enjoyed, films need to be seen in a cinema.”
- In some parts, people think that going to the cinema is not essential these days because there are many methods to watch films in a house like our phones and tablets. However, others say that the cinema is needed if we want to enjoy movies fully.



Task 2

Plastic shopping bags contribute to the pollution of land and sea. Some people think they should be banned. Do you agree or disagree?

Intro
The world's ocean and land are threatened by pollution which is caused by lots of factors like plastic shopping bags. Hence, I totally agree that we should forbid to use those for the Earth.

: When it comes to the marine pollution which is caused by plastic bags, it is affected badly by not only sea animals but also human.
In the ocean, those plastic bags have decomposed into microplastics which have more tiny molecular structures than original ones for a long time.
Fishes take in the microplastics through their feeds. Then, they stacked up inside of fishes and move to human's body when people eat fishses. As far as I know, it caused by many diseases and illnesses like hormone imbalance. Additionally, the occasion in the ground is same as in the ocean.  Thus, using plastic shopping bags means that human kill themselves.

When it comes to the plastic bags, it is revealed that they would be decomposed to have more tiny molecular structures for a long time, called by microplastics. Those are absorbed into marine creatures, even human's body. For instance, fishes eat

Moreover, stopping using plastic bags is one of the easiest way to save the nature. We donot need to use it anymore. We can utilize recycling bags instead. For instance, plastic bags are normally disposable goods but if we use recycling bags such as bamboo and rattan, not plastic. In addition, these days, making goods with garbages like fabric, wood and glass, which is called by 'Upcycling', is in fashion among the people. In this way, we are able to use more eco-friendly goods than plastic bags. 

 

Conclusion
To sum up, Serious pollutions of land and ocean can be found all over the world and plastic shopping bags are mentioned that they play a part in a pollution source. Thus, I strongly suppose that comsuming those should be banned.
